Our process

You take paint to your local recycling site in Leeds

We collect leftover and unwanted paint that householders of Leeds leave in our paint banks on the Household Waste Sorting sites.

What we accept

We will reuse any paint that has more than a couple of inches left in the pot. Paint that is solid or paint pots that are empty can go directly into your black general waste bin.

We accept any non hazardous paint:

  • household emulsion
  • masonry emulsion
  • timber care
  • garden shades
  • water and oil based gloss
  • varnish
  • wood stain
  • radiator paint
  • tile paint
  • undercoat
  • hammerite
  • bitumen
  • floor paint
  • decking stain

Mixing

We mix and reuse to create new paint

Once the paint is collected we separate it into type and good and bad. We re-blend the paint if needed, blob on the top and the tin is ready to go into our paint store. We only mix like with like and it the tin is brand new it gets a sticker saying so.

Paint sorting

You purchase just what you need

In the shop tins are separated into colour. If the emulsion tin says silk on the label then it will be silk paint in the tin. We have a wide variety of types of paint.

Bespoke mixing

We mix paint to match your colour swatch

If you can’t find the colour you want on the shelf we can blend paint together to match your colour swatch. We call this our bespoke mixing service.
