We save paint from landfill,
You buy paint from us,
Together,
we save lives
We’ve been repurposing unwanted paint since 2005. The paint is diverted from landfill to help the planet, create jobs and help get peoples lives back on track.
Diverting paint from landfill is all about people power. We collect paint from the household waste sites in Leeds, bring it back to Seagulls, check it, mix it and sell it cheaply from our shop.

Volunteering underpins everything we do at Seagulls. Seagulls was founded around a kitchen table by volunteers. Seagulls grew from a shared passion for social justice and green ideals.
We recently held our first Play with paint day in our interactive gallery. It was brilliant! People of all ages came and had fun splashing paint on our walls. The freedom and joy of being free with paint was joyful to watch. It was even described as transformative. Dates and tickets for this event throughout 2026 can be found on our Eventbrite page.
Rescued from landfill, checked and mixed by humans and ready to use.
Paint brushes, rollers, tapes… you need to paint, we’ve got the gear.
Donations help us carry on the valuable work we do and we appreciate any amount that you’re able to give. If you’d like to support us in another way, come roll up your sleeves and consider volunteering.
