Up until the new lockdown news we all received on Friday we had been planning to to go live with some workshop dates. In light of the current restrictions we intend to sit tight for a few weeks, see how the virus goes and keep everything crossed to deliver some workshops in November and December. We’ve not ruled out the possibility of 1 to 1 workshops so please get in touch if you have a project in mind.

In the meantime we will be concentrating on B E S P O K E  P R O J E C T S and

C O M M I S S I O N S in wood and print. Please get in touch via Email discuss your project and get a quote. No project too big or too small!

What is LifeHouse

LifeHouse is a space for creativity, inspiration,  learning, making and building confidence: an oasis in the Seagulls’ busy working community.

LifeHouse the idea, has been a long held vision of  Seagulls Founders. Many years ago when we ran a decorating service and gave paint to a lot of people in social housing it became clear that people lacked the skills and confidence to put paint on the walls; and through our volunteer programme it was evident that many people who came through our doors lacked key life skills such as cooking. The idea to provide a safe and welcoming space for people to learn skills and improve confidence was born.

In November 2019 we officially opened LifeHouse. The space boasts a workshop equipped with tools and equipment for silversmith, print and wood workshops. We also have 3 pods: stage rooms that are used to teach decorating skills.
