LifeHouse the idea, has been a long held vision of Seagulls Founders. Many years ago when we ran a decorating service and gave paint to a lot of people in social housing it became clear that people lacked the skills and confidence to put paint on the walls; and through our volunteer programme it was evident that many people who came through our doors lacked key life skills such as cooking. The idea to provide a safe and welcoming space for people to learn skills and improve confidence was born.
In November 2019 we officially opened LifeHouse. The space boasts a workshop equipped with tools and equipment for silversmith, print and wood workshops. We also have 3 pods: stage rooms that are used to teach decorating skills.
